Adrien Butty a CGIL Ph.D. candidate will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, March 29th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 pm in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building.  

Our department meeting for Animal Biosciences will take place Friday March 29 2019 at 10:30 AM in ANNU 141. Hope to see you all there!    

Brian Van Doormaal, General Manager of the Canadian Dairy Network, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, March 22nd. The seminar will begin at 1:30 pm in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building.  

The Graduate Student Council is working with Georgia Mason in her role as Faculty Advisor to gather graduate student feedback on faculty advising practices within the Animal Bioscience Department. We will be collecting anonymous feedback via a comment box in the main office from this week. We are looking for things that have both positively or negatively impacted your graduate student experience. This may include, but is not limited to:

The M.Sc. Defence for Zipporah Mwaniki has been scheduled for Friday, March 22nd, 2019 @ 9:00 a.m. in Room 141, Animal Science & Nutrition Building. Committee Member: Anna-Kate Shoveller Additional Member: Lee-Anne Huber            Thesis Title: “Complete replacement of soybean meal with defatted black soldier fly larva meal (BSFLM) in laying hens feeding program: impact on egg production and quality”.

The CCSAW Student Chapter will be hosting an animal welfare seminar next week, March 21st !    Dr. Hollie Ross, from the Toronto Zoo will be presenting her talk on "How the Behavioural Husbandry Program Supports Animal Welfare at the Toronto Zoo"    Date and time: Thursday March 21st from 12:30-1:30pm in ANNU 101.   All are welcome to attend!   Thank you   -CCSAW Student Chapter
