Our graduate students and faculty had incredible success at the American Dairy Science Association (ADSA) conference, held in Kentucky earlier this week. It is truly inspiring to see the University of Guelph excel on the international stage, and especially to see the students in our Department stand out for their talent and leadership in dairy sciences.

• Dr. Stephen LeBlanc (University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College, Department of Population Medicine, and Director of Dairy at Guelph) is the 2025 recipient of the Zinpro Award for Excellence in Dairy Science.
We are also pleased to share that both Dr. Michael Steele (Department of Animal Biosciences) and Dr. David Renaud (Department of Population Medicine) were inducted into the Journal of Dairy Science (JDS) 100 Club, which recognizes individuals who have published over 100 papers in the journal. Dr. Renaud, notably, is also a graduate of our undergraduate program. They now join an impressive list of JDS 100 Club members from the University of Guelph including Drs. DeVries, Miglior, Duffield, LeBlanc, Kelton, and Leslie.
Overall, this year’s ADSA conference was a tremendous success for the University of Guelph. Please join us in celebrating these outstanding accomplishments, especially those of our remarkable students.
