The 9th Equine Industry Symposium will focus on the Equine Code of Practice and its impact on equine welfare. This year’s theme is “Cracking the Code”.
On Night 1, Jeffrey Spooner and Jackie Wepruk, experts from the National Farm Animal Care Council (NFACC), will cover the code's development, its relevance, and its impact on equine welfare. On Night 2, we will hear from Bettina Bobsien (NFACC), Sally Taylor (British Horseracing Authority), Bronte Forbes (Hong Kong Jockey Club) and Sonja Keating (The United States Equestrian Federation) on the implementation of equine welfare practices in their jurisdictions.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in an open Q&A session, fostering a resourceful environment focused on shared challenges and solutions in equine care.
Don’t miss the opportunity to shape the future content of the Equine Code of Practice.
