Ivan Campos, a PhD Candidate working under the supervision of Dr. Flavio Schenkel, created an eye-catching infographic summarizing his research on Breeding Dairy Cattle for Climate Resilience.

Week 2 Winner of the ABSc GSC Creative Expression of Research Competition

Congratulations to Kortney Acton for winning last week's prize draw for the ABSc Graduate Student Council’s Creative Expressions of Research Contest. Kortney is an M.Sc. Candidate studying beef Cattle nutrition with Dr. Katie Wood and recieved first prize from the random draw for her "COWSMOO" magazine cover!

Prof. Tina Widowski Named Research Leadership Chair

ABSc Prof. Tina Widowski was among 13 UofG faculty recently awarded a Research Leadership Chair (RLC). The RLC program was initiated by the Univeristy in 2017 to "recognize research excellence of mid- to late-career-stage faculty who have proven records of distinguished and sustained scholarly work."
