Week 2 Winner of the ABSc GSC Creative Expression of Research Competition

Congratulations to Kortney Acton for winning last week's prize draw for the ABSc Graduate Student Council’s Creative Expressions of Research Contest. Kortney is an M.Sc. Candidate studying beef Cattle nutrition with Dr. Katie Wood and recieved first prize from the random draw for her "COWSMOO" magazine cover!
We received many fantastic submissions last week. Please follow the links to view all of the great work our postdoctoral fellows and students are carrying out!
- Dr. Nienke Van Staaveren, a post-doctoral fellow with Prof. Alexandra Harlander, created a video (link coming soon) highlighting research the Harlander lab has been working on the past few years.
- M.Sc. candidate Lauren Finlay, from the Wood lab, captured a group of cattle lining up for their photoshoot at the new Beef Research facility.
- Ph.D candidate Claire Mindus, from the Harlander lab, created an infographic summarizing her research on feather pecking in birds.
