Matias was born in the city of Nueve de Julio, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He grew up around various beef and dairy cattle farms through his family’s agricultural background, where he developed a strong interest in cattle production.

He is currently in his final year of Zootechnical Engineering program at the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, during which he served as a teaching assistant in the courses of Animal Reproduction and Animal Health.

In April 2025, Matias joined Dr. Eduardo Ribeiro’s lab as a visiting researcher.
