I am a veterinarian from Goiânia, Brazil, currently pursuing a Ph.D. under the advisement of Dr. Eduardo Ribeiro. My doctoral research focuses on the development of streamlined, data-driven methods for the continuous assessment of transition period management, with the goal of supporting evidence-based decision-making to improve dairy cow health, welfare, and production sustainability.

I previously completed a course-based Master of Science in Animal Physiology (2024–2025), also under Dr. Ribeiro’s supervision, during which I strengthened my training in transition period biology, dairy management, and applied statistics. This graduate training reinforced my interest in translating complex biological and production data into practical tools that can be applied at the farm level.

My foundational training in Veterinary Medicine was completed at Centro Universitário de Goiânia, followed by research experience at the Universidade Federal de Goiás as a member of the NEPBRA research group, under Dr. Maria Lucia Gambarini supervision. There, I worked with dairy cows in reproductive management and in vitro fertilization (IVF), which allowed me to develop valuable laboratory and research skills.

Looking ahead, I aim to pursue a career in the dairy industry where I can combine hands-on on-farm work, and data management. I am particularly interested in implementing new technologies and data-driven tools to improve farm management, optimize transition period performance, and enhance the overall efficiency and sustainability of dairy production systems.
